The High Country is Located in historic Chama, New Mexico The High Country serves lunch and dinner 7 days a week and a breakfast buffet with omelet's and waffles made to order every Sunday from 8am-12pm. Some favorite plates include hand cut steaks, trout, seafood, burgers, pastas and New Mexican cuisine. You can join us for lunch or dinner in one of our large family style dining rooms which feature original works of art by local artists, or for a more lively atmosphere stroll into the saloon for a bite to eat along with a cold drink and a good time. You can expect live music by a wide variety of artists every weekend in the bar or on our outdoor patio when weather permits. We serve 12 beers on tap and a nice variety of domestic and imported wines by the glass or bottle, as well as a large list of specialty drinks, top shelf margaritas and  spirits.  If you find a new favorite drink while at our bar you can probably pick it up at The High Country Package Liquor and Convenience Store located on the premises. Enjoy a choice of fine cigars from our cedar lined walk in humidor.  If you are traveling our way we hope you make this local favorite a part of your trip to Chama.
